In recent years companies have been creating games that reward employees for taking better care of their health. The trend has been gaining momentum and spawning ventures like Keas, the company founded by former Google executive, Adam Bosworth. Of course, when it comes to retirement, incentives are not new to employee benefits practitioners. Companies offering 401(k) plans have used employer matching as an incentive to get employees to participate for decades. Still, we want to know what else might motivate people to participate in or contribute more to their 401(k) plans.
